Degree/diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality or other similar vocational education. Must have previous bar-tending and sommelier experience with minimum 5 years experience in a high volume Hotel/Bar/Club or Cruise Line in a similar capacity. Previous experience with managing employees of different cultures and nationalities is an added preference. Ability to make sound decisions and be profit oriented are requirements of the job. Diploma / degree in Hospitality / food production preferred but not required. Minimum 3 years experience in the kitchen of a hotel / restaurant (4+ star) serving Continental Food. Fundamental Culinary basics are a necessity for this position. Must have knowledge of weights, specis, roast, veg, etc, as well as ability to train & lead before being considered for promotion to CDP Galley). USD1,000 per month Salary.

CdP Galley: Pleasant personality, English (Marlins 80), hospitable, positive attitude, self motivated. Applicant should have the ability to positively motivate, train and supervise work force. A Diploma / degree in Hospitality / Food production is preferred but not required. A minimum of 2 years experience in a hotel / restaurant (minimum of 4 star rating) serving contemporary continental cuisine / fusion with extensive large banqueting capability in a capacity of CDP or similar. Previous Cruise ship experience is preferred. Basic computer skills (MS office) is advantageous but not required. USD1,300 per month Salary.

Guest Services Associate

A professional responsible for providing exemplary services to the guests.

Personify Carnival’s image of a first class resort through friendly, prompt, attentive, courteous and personal service in a professional environment.

Excellent communication skills with fluent English language skills in - both written & verbal (Marlins 90). A secondary language is preferred.

Be able to perform cash transactions including, but not limited to, cashing travelers checks, selling stamps, making change and settlement of accounts.

Work scheduled Front Desk shifts at Purser/Information Desk with the primary focus of extending information as warranted and following up on requests as needed.

Fulfilling balancing of float (imprest funds) commensurate with above transactions as per established policies and procedures.
Register guests for sail/sign program.

Log all complaints and concerns from guests into the onboard incident report. Follow up with guests to ensure maximum guest service.

Notify appropriate service provided (technical department or otherwise) to service cabin problems, special requests, etc., and follow-up accordingly.

Must be talkative and be able to maintain conversation on almost any subject. Have very good telephone manners as will be taking reservations over phone.
